The state embassy in the South African administrative capital of Pretoria has been under constant protests, with protesters vowing to shut down travel over allegations of human rights abuses inside the embassy.

Security forces and police rallied in front of the embassy building on high alert on Friday when the Federation of Local Diplomatic Staff protested outside the embassy over human rights and labor law violations at the diplomatic mission.

The Vienna Convention clearly states that a diplomatic mission must respect the laws of the receiving State.

He called on the South African Union, Department of International Relations in his country to “impose the compliance of the UAE Embassy to the law and labor relations, must comply with the Constitution of South Africa.”

Common abuses in diplomatic missions include “sexual exploitation, long working hours, and sometimes physical abuse of workers,” the statement said.

“The UAE embassy staff commit racism and discrimination against women. This embassy does not comply with the Labor Relations Act of the Republic. We want them to comply.”

The workers warned that they would close the UAE embassy and the UAE embassy or foreign ministry did not comment on the protests.

The UAE is one of the most notorious countries in the world, which is tainted by the condemnation of the reports of the United Nations and human rights organizations for violations committed internally and externally.

International reports periodically confirm the widespread international condemnation and condemnation of UAE crimes, confirming the country’s black record of human rights.
