Wide mockery of diamond toilet UAE celebrated

The UAE’s celebration of a diamond toilet has caused widespread ridicule on social media, in light of the country’s allegations that it is “making history.”

Tweeters mocked the Emirati announcement and said that history will remind the Emirates of a “toilet” and that the rulers ’pursuit of records has turned into a crazy obsession.

The UAE celebrated the unveiling of a “historical diamond-encrusted toilet with 40,815 diamonds, totaling 334 carats, valued at $1.28 million, and recorded in the Guinness Book of Records, as the first toilet in history inlaid with diamonds.”
