Emirati-Israeli Meeting in Brussels to Coordinate Palestinian Resistance Propaganda

Identical diplomatic sources revealed that an Emirati-Israeli meeting was held in the Belgian capital, Brussels, to coordinate propaganda to incite against the Palestinian resistance factions in the Gaza Strip, especially during the post-Hamas period, according to Israeli plans.

The sources told Emirates Leaks that the meeting included six media figures and those who presented themselves as analysts and political researchers loyal to the UAE and who are involved directly and indirectly in the programs and activities of media outlets funded by Abu Dhabi.

Palestinian Ibrahim Abrash, journalist Ramadan Abu Jazar—known as a leading UAE mercenary in incitement and propaganda—and normalization advocate Bassem Eid, along with Saudi intelligence operative Abdulaziz Al-Khamis, a key figure in normalization efforts under Emirati guidance.

On the other hand, Israeli officials and journalists participated in the meeting, led by Ofir Gendelman, the Prime Minister’s spokesman for Arab media.

The sources indicated that the meeting centered on aligning Emirati-Israeli efforts to intensify incitement and misinformation campaigns against Palestinian resistance factions, particularly in response to developments in the ongoing Israeli war in the Gaza Strip that has lasted for ten months.

The sources stated that Israel is currently collaborating with the UAE on propaganda strategies for the post-Hamas era in the Gaza Strip, amplifying media pressure on the movement and showcasing figures from both within and outside Gaza to help advance Israeli objectives.

The sources noted that the meeting follows a public visit made on Thursday and a clandestine visit by Emirati officials to Israel last month to discuss their vision and media strategies.

This aligns with the UAE’s heightened online activity over the past few weeks, leading to the establishment of numerous fake accounts on social media to comment on the developments in the ongoing Israeli conflict in the Gaza Strip.

The tweets of the Emirati electronic flies reveal their consensus on three main goals: demonizing the Palestinian resistance and supporting Israel, in addition to promoting Abu Dhabi’s alleged humanitarian role in Gaza.

The Emirati electronic flies aimed to escalate their incitement campaigns against Palestinian factions by using fake Palestinian identities to create division and provoke local public sentiment in Gaza against the resistance.

The suspicious Emirati activity stems from incitement to the resistance by holding it responsible for the destruction of Gaza and that it is only in the service of senior officials, in addition to accusing it of stealing humanitarian aid.

On the other hand, the tweets of the Emirati electronic flies belittle the operations of the Palestinian resistance and its steadfastness in the face of massacres and the Israeli bombing and destruction machine.

In addition to supporting Israel and its army in its daily massacres against the residents of the Gaza Strip, the activities of the Emirati electronic flies are strongly based on promoting the UAE’s aid and whitewashing its image stained with the shame of normalization.

For months, the UAE has leveraged its questionable media and political tools to portray the Palestinian resistance negatively, especially as public outrage over Abu Dhabi’s normalization with Israel continues to grow.

Ali Rashid Al-Nuaimi, a key figure in the UAE’s normalization efforts and Chairman of the Defense, Interior, and Foreign Affairs Committee in the Federal National Council, launched a harsh critique of the Palestinian resistance, particularly targeting Hamas, and asserted that “Israel is here to stay.”

Al-Nuaimi participated in a special online press conference organized by the European Jewish Association (EJA) and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and made controversial statements against the Palestinian resistance.

Al-Naimi said that the normalization agreements are not in danger amid Israel’s bloody war on the Gaza Strip, claiming that “the (normalization) agreements are our future.” “It is not an agreement between two governments, but it is a platform that we believe should change the region.”

He added that he wants everyone “to recognize and accept that Israel is here to stay and that the roots of Jews and Christians are not in New York or Paris, but here in our region.” Claiming, “They are part of our history and must be part of our future.”

Al Nuaimi, who is close to decision-making circles in Abu Dhabi, claimed that the UAE wants to change the educational system and religious narrative.

This is not the first instance of Al-Nuaimi advocating for adjustments to the educational system to align with the normalization of the Israeli occupation. In January 2021—just four months after the normalization agreement was signed—he suggested altering the approach to eliminate what he referred to as “Islamic extremism.”

He said at the time, “Education represents the first line of defense against any threat, in a region still suffering from extremist ideology.”

Commenting on the protests rejecting the Israeli war on Gaza, Al-Nuaimi said, “We need those who believe in peace in Europe, the United States, and everywhere to confront the hate speech that we see in the demonstrations in Paris and London.”

Regarding Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, which was launched by the Palestinian resistance on October 7, Al-Naimi said, “It is very important to understand that there are enemies of what we are doing. These terrorist organizations do not respect human life. It does not allow them to achieve their goals.”

He added: “No person with human feeling and common sense would agree to the barbaric terrorist attack committed by Hamas on October 7: no one.” Claiming that the “enemies” took advantage of the war and that there is a difference between Hamas and the Palestinian people.

Al Nuaimi is one of Abu Dhabi’s key figures in attacking Islam and inciting anti-Muslim sentiments in Europe. He leads the “Hidayah” Center for Combating Extremism, which is backed by various European extremists advocating for the expulsion of Muslims from the continent.

This occurred as the Emirati Association to Resist Normalization condemned Abu Dhabi’s ongoing welcome of Israelis despite the eight-month-long war in the Gaza Strip, following the Maldives’ decision to prohibit Israelis from entering its territory.

The association stated in a blog post on its “X” account, “While the Maldives bans the entry of Zionists, the UAE government continues to welcome them and their leaders after over 280 days of war against our brothers in Gaza.”

Last Sunday, the Maldives government decided to ban Israelis from entering the country as popular anger escalated in the Muslim-majority country over the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

The Associated Press reported that the office of Maldives President Mohamed Moisu announced in a statement that the Council of Ministers has decided to amend laws to bar holders of Israeli passports from entering the country and to create a subcommittee to oversee this process.

The statement also mentioned that President Moiso will appoint a special envoy to evaluate Palestinian needs and initiate a fundraising campaign titled “Maldives Stands in Solidarity with Palestine.”

The UAE entered into a public normalization agreement with Israel in September 2020, which was followed by numerous cooperation agreements across various sectors, culminating in the Comprehensive Trade Agreement—making it the first Arab nation to establish such an accord with Tel Aviv.

Abu Dhabi has not taken any diplomatic measures in response to Israeli actions in the Gaza Strip, aside from issuing statements of condemnation, and has disregarded all Arab and Islamic calls to sever ties with Israel.
