Israeli companies have once again confirmed their participation in the “IDEX 2025” International Defense Exhibition in the UAE, reinforcing the shame of normalization and the alliance between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv, despite the ongoing Israeli massacres in Palestine and Lebanon.
Among the primary Israeli companies participating in the exhibition, which runs until February 21, 2025, at the ADNEC center in Abu Dhabi, is “IAI” (Israel Aerospace Industries), recognized as one of the top 100 arms companies globally in 2023 by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).
The CEO of IAI admitted that their products were used in Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza, thanking the Emirati authorities for offering them the opportunity to participate in the event and promote their products.
Israeli company RT LTA Systems presented a new cellular communication system integrated onto its SkyStar 330 tactical balloon platform at the exhibition.
The balloon carries communication equipment to a height of 500 meters, and it can be deployed and operated within one hour of reaching the site. The system utilizes a ground-connected cable with optical fibers to ensure stable communication and continuous power and data transfer.
The 17th edition of IDEX, organized by the ADNEC Group in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Defense, attracts leading global defense companies, decision-makers, and experts, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and solutions for global peace and security, according to the organizers.
“Heven Drones,” an Israeli company specializing in hydrogen-powered unmanned aerial systems, unveiled its new “Rider” drone during the exhibition.
The “Rider” drone is distinguished by its long endurance, with more than 10 hours of operation using hydrogen propulsion, and a payload capacity of up to 23 kilograms.
Benjamin Levinson, founder and CEO of Heven Drones, explained that the launch of the “Rider” drone represents the company’s commitment to enhancing operational capabilities for a variety of missions such as reconnaissance, tactical operations, and logistical support.
Levinson noted the sensitivity of the situation, stating: “What we’ve heard from our counterparts in the UAE and other nations is that security is paramount… Israel, the US, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the entire region agree on the goal of defeating terrorism, and for that, we must have the best technology.”
The current edition of IDEX has seen an increase in exhibiting companies, with 1,565 companies from 65 countries, marking a 16% rise in participation compared to the last edition. The exhibition space has also grown by 10%, reaching 181,501 square meters.
