Emirati tweeter Hamad Al Mazroui, incited against the Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili, in several tweets due to his position in that supports Turkey’s decision to transform the Hagia Sophia Museum into a mosque.

In light of the frequent Emirati electronic flies abuse of the Sultanate of Oman and its officials, Al Mazroui attempted to undermine Al-Khalili and offend him directly saying that he is not entitled to speak in the name of the Islamic nation.

Angry tweeters responded to Al Mazroui’s abuses by attacking him and the UAE, and his shameful stances, such as waging wars on Arab and Islamic countries, interfering in their affairs, and normalizing relations with Israel.

Al-Khalili congratulated the Islamic nation, the Turkish people, and its president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, following the decision to return Hagia Sophia in Istanbul to a mosque.

Through his account on Twitter, Al-Khalili said: “We congratulate ourselves, the entire Muslim nation, the authentic brotherly Muslim people of Turkey, headed by its veteran leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, by bringing Hagia Sophia back to one God’s houses.”

“This step is a successful step for the heroic Muslim people and their leader as they were not discouraged by haters of Islam to move forward in restoring this milestone to what it had been since the era of Muhammad Al-Fateh and until the end of the reign of the Sultans of Uthman, where the rituals of religion were held, and from which the call of Islam was launched with evidence from God’s law.”

“Until the era of those who tampered with the sanctities of religion violated their sanctities and tampered with this teacher as they tampered with others.”

Last Friday, the Turkish Supreme Administrative Court overturned the cabinet decision of November 24, 1934, to transfer the Hagia Sophia from a mosque to a museum.
