Activists from the Ukrainian “red wolf groups” surrounded the UAE embassy in The Hague, burned its flags and tore up pictures of the President of the State, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, against the background of Abu Dhabi’s support for Russia.

The Red Wolf groups announced that their activists surrounded the UAE embassy in The Hague and prevented the exit of its employees for about an hour. Then they burnt Emirati flags and tore up the pictures of bin Zayed.

The group said they are carrying out a European and international campaign to burn the UAE flag and expose its embassies in various countries because of its support for Russia in the war against their country. They also protested Dubai’s contribution to the money laundering process of the wealthy Russians, providing them with a haven to escape international sanctions.

According to the Red Wolves Groups, they are launching a comprehensive European and international campaign to expose the behavior of the UAE and its suspicious policies.

On the second of this month, Ukrainian activists organized a protest in front of the UAE embassy in the Belgian capital, Brussels, which included tearing the UAE flag against the background of Abu Dhabi’s support for Russia in its war on Kyiv. Ukrainian activists call themselves Red Wolves Groups and the nationalist movement Union Svoboda in their protests against the UAE.

Activists criticized the role of the UAE in allying with the international pariah Russian regime, including providing a haven for wealthy Russians to escape international sanctions against the backdrop of the war on Ukraine.

They released balloons bearing the images of the UAE President, Mohammed bin Zayed, with the inscription “killer”. They described him as a war criminal and supporter of oppressive regimes worldwide.

Protests have continued in European capitals against Russia against the backdrop of the invasion of Ukraine, amid a consensus condemning the UAE’s alliance with Moscow.

Dozens of activists from Ukraine and their supporters of different European nationalities have previously protested in front of the headquarters of the European Union in the Belgian capital, Brussels, to demand the imposition of sanctions against Russia and its ally, the UAE.

The sit-in, organized in parallel with the session to discuss the new package of European sanctions against Brussels, included activists representing deaths in the streets of Ukraine due to the Russian invasion of the country.

The protesters chanted slogans demanding sanctions on Russia and Mohammed bin Zayed, who provided a safe escape from international sanctions for the Russian rich in the Emirates. The protesters also previously prevented vehicles from refuelling in Brussels as part of the popular movements against Moscow’s war on Ukraine.

Dozens of European and Ukrainian activists staged a sit-in in Brussels to protest against the Russian war on Ukraine and the support of Moscow’s allies, led by the UAE.

The sit-ins took place in front of 13 stations of the Russian Oil and Gas Company (Lukoil) in Brussels in an attempt to prevent the sale of Russian petroleum products and to demand the severance of all economic relations with Moscow.

The demonstrators raised written banners denouncing Russia’s war on Ukraine and Moscow’s support for authoritarian regimes such as the UAE. The demonstrators carried pictures of Russian President Vladimir Putin and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed, describing them as perpetrators of war crimes.

Before that, dozens of activists from Ukraine and other European countries demonstrated against the import of gas from Russia, and the UAE, against the background of its support for Moscow’s invasion of Ukrainian lands.

The demonstration took place in the port of Antwerp in Belgium, and the participants raised banners against the UAE and Mohammed bin Zayed. They provided a haven for the rich of Russia from European and international sanctions.

The demonstrators demanded more international sanctions against Russia and the imposition of similar sanctions on the UAE to stop its support for Moscow and its shameful positions in support of authoritarian regimes.

The ongoing protests express the growing manifestations of widespread anger in Europe against the UAE, its ruling regime, and the policies it takes to spread chaos and sabotage in the Middle East, support tyranny and oppose democracy.
