Emirati and Gulf campaign on Twitter calls to silence a tweeter close to MbZ

Emirati and Gulf tweeters launched a Twitter campaign against the Emirati Hamad al-Mazroui, who is known to be close to Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed.

The campaign calls the UAE government to intervene to stop this tweeter who distorted the image of the people.

In February 2018, Dubai police arrested Hamad Hussein al-Yami, known as Al-Mazroui, after a hand fight with a Romanian young man after a dispute between them because he refused to pay the a young Romanian.

The details of the case began in one of the well known Dubai night clubs, where Al-Mazroui regularly met with his friends for the purpose of vigil and drinking alcohol until he went out with the young Roman to a nearby hotel.

The witness, an Arabic national, told Middle East Morning, that a waiter at the night club, that he knew of Al-Mazroui through his frequent visit to the club to watch, dance and play with the girls and young men as well. And he always came out of the club with young Europeans aged 20 to 30. He was showing abnormal sexual orientation, where he harassed more than a young European and Arab were in the nightclub.

The witness, preferred to be unnamed, said that before the end of the evening night, Al-Mazroui took a young Romanian man named Alexander Agosto (a gay prostitute at Dubai Amusement Park) to a nearby hotel.

The witness, who has a friendly relationship with one of the employees of the neighboring hotel, said there were an altercation and a hand fight that led to the beating between Al-Mazroui and the Romanian young man. The hotel management had to call the police who rushed to the place and took Al-Mazroui to one of the neighboring police stations.

Al-Mazroui tried to show his identity immediately after the arrival of the police, who listened to witnesses and the hotel management and young man, and it turned out that Al-Mazroui refused to pay the young man.

Al-Mazroui, who can be described as anomaly after the incident, managed to get out of the police station in minutes after a man intervened in the office of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince. He explained to Dubai Police the importance of Al Mazroui and the sensitivity of the case. The young man was deported to Dubai Central Prison.
