Israeli Targeting of WCK Employees Reveals UAE Intelligence Activity in Gaza

The recent Israeli targeting of employees of the World Central Kitchen (WCK) organization unintentionally exposed an aspect of the UAE’s intelligence activity in Gaza.
The Israeli attack on Monday evening, which sparked international condemnation, led to the fatalities of seven global workers associated with the World Central Kitchen group as a result of airstrikes in Gaza’s central area.
The American organization announced that three British citizens, along with individuals from Poland and Australia, were among the seven employees who lost their lives when Israeli forces targeted their convoy. The employees were traveling in two vehicles marked with the organization’s logo, despite having coordinated their movements with the Israeli military.
For its part, the British newspaper (The Sun) revealed that the three Britons who were killed in the Israeli targeting were intelligence officers and worked for a British security company based in Dorset and that one of them previously worked in the Royal Navy and the Special Security Forces.
The trio were employed by a British intelligence firm named Solace Global in Gaza, linked with the Emirati intelligence service. They were tasked by Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with Israel, to conduct intelligence operations targeting Palestinian resistance factions, their members, and their operational sites.
The World Central Kitchen (WCK) organization has a longstanding partnership with the UAE, and it serves as the primary executor of the American initiative to establish a seaport in Gaza. This endeavor is financed by Abu Dhabi and conducted under thorough Israeli coordination and oversight.
The WCK organization is also one of the first international bodies to be active in Israel following the Palestinian resistance factions’ operation (Al-Aqsa Flood) on October 7th, under the guise of supporting Israeli victims with Emirati funding and support.
The Israeli army targeted WCK vehicles with a Hermes 450 drone, allegedly wrongly suspecting that Palestinian militants were using the vehicles as a cover.
The convoy of the organization was on its route along Al-Rashid Street, situated between Deir Al-Balah and Khan Yunis in the central Gaza Strip. Their mission was to deliver aid within a demilitarized zone when it faced lethal targeting by Israeli forces.
The Sun newspaper reported that the three Britons killed in the Israeli targeting were intelligence officers and that one of them previously worked in the Royal Navy, another in the Special Security Forces, and the third was a former fighter in the British Army.
The newspaper reported that the three dead were:
– John Chapman, 57 years old, was a well-known Special Forces hero in the British SBS.
– James Henderson, 33 years old, served in the British Royal Marines for six years
-James Kirby, a former British soldier.
WCK participated in the first shipment of aid to Gaza, sent via a sea corridor from Cyprus last month, carrying nearly two hundred tons of food aid, fully funded by the UAE.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE released a statement denouncing the Israeli attack on the team from the Global Central Kitchen Foundation. The statement referred to the foundation as “the UAE’s collaborator in the Amalthea initiative aimed at bolstering humanitarian aid for civilians in the northern Gaza Strip.”
Over recent weeks, the UAE regime has resorted to a malicious plan based on exploiting the famine in Gaza caused by Israel’s ongoing war on the Strip, with the aim of espionage and gaining influence, in coordination with Tel Aviv.
The American Wall Street Journal revealed a secret Israeli plan to put elements opposed to the Palestinian resistance factions in charge of distributing humanitarian aid in Gaza, with the help of the UAE and Egypt.
Israeli and Arab officials said, according to the newspaper, that Israeli security officials are quietly developing a plan to distribute aid in the Gaza Strip that could ultimately lead to the establishment of a Palestinian-led governing authority there in which the UAE will play a major role.
During the middle of the previous month, diplomatic sources from the international community disclosed that the UAE, along with Israel and the American administration, reached an agreement to implement a conspiracy. This conspiracy purportedly aimed at boosting humanitarian aid to Gaza residents, yet served as a facade to sustain the conflict against Palestinian resistance forces, with efforts to undermine and eliminate them, which included significant intelligence operations.
Sources informed Emirates Leaks that Abu Dhabi had reached agreements with Tel Aviv and Washington to alleviate Arab and Islamic outrage regarding the events unfolding in Gaza, particularly the escalating famine during the month of Ramadan.
The sources explained that Emirati officials pushed for Israel’s approval in coordination with Washington to ensure increased entry of humanitarian supplies, including intensification of air and sea aid.
According to the sources, the UAE wants to intensify humanitarian support to be a means of providing cover to enable Israel to continue its war on the Gaza Strip, to try to eliminate the Palestinian resistance and deprive it of any achievements.
At a time when it provides Israel with huge land supplies amid its war on the Gaza Strip six months ago, the UAE caused the killing of Palestinian citizens in Gaza under the guise of saving them from famine.
Palestinian sources revealed that UAE aircraft killed seven Palestinian citizens and injured others in early March, during wrong landings of humanitarian aid in Gaza City in light of the worsening reality of famine, with Israel continuing the crime of genocide for the sixth month in a row.
In this context, leaked documents revealed the UAE’s involvement in a conspiracy with Israel and the American administration to implement the most dangerous plan against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip to forcibly displace them.
The documents reviewed by Emirates Leaks showed that the American move to establish a temporary port in Gaza was carried out in full coordination and support with the UAE and entails huge risks for the future of the Palestinians.
Based on the documents, high-ranking Israeli and American military personnel engaged in thorough deliberations with their counterparts in the UAE over the past fortnight to finalize the establishment of the interim port and outline strategies for the subsequent stage.
The statement clarified that the port initiative in Gaza, as instigated by the UAE, aimed to alleviate the pressure on Gaza residents facing starvation while also projecting a propaganda-driven perception of humanitarian aid provision to the population.
However, this move will serve as a facade for executing a highly perilous scheme against the Palestinians. It entails granting Israel tacit approval from Washington and Abu Dhabi to conduct a military assault in Rafah, situated in the southernmost region of the Gaza Strip, where over a million Palestinians seek refuge.
The documents stated that there is an Emirati-Israeli agreement on the need for a full ground attack on Rafah in order to attack the rest of the resistance factions’ positions and to press for forced displacement of the displaced Palestinians.
Rafah, situated on the border with Egypt, is targeted by Israel, backed by the UAE, to forcibly relocate Gaza residents to the Sinai region, ultimately aiming to undermine the Palestinian cause.
The Chief Humanitarian Coordinator for Aid and Reconstruction in Gaza, Sigrid Kaag, confirmed that there is no alternative to land corridors to deliver aid to Gaza, stressing that air and sea landings are not an alternative to land supplies to provide relief to 2.3 million people in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian community also labeled the initiatives undertaken by the UAE, particularly the aerial delivery of aid, as mere displays for propaganda purposes. They have voiced strong concerns regarding Abu Dhabi’s ulterior motives, particularly its ambitions to assert influence in Gaza and escalate intelligence operations.
