The UAE is an expansion center for the ruling Likud party in Israel

In a shocking development, the ruling Likud party in Israel took the UAE as a centre for expansion by organizing its global conference in the Emirate of Dubai.

The conference was organized under the chairmanship of MK Danon, Chairman of the Likud International Board of Directors, over three days in a five-star hotel in Dubai for mayors and senior Likud activists, who claimed to be proud of strengthening cooperation between party representatives in Israel and branches around the world, and today in an Arab country.

And Hebrew media revealed that “Danon flew this week, accompanied by a hundred Likud members, to a prestigious and exclusive political conference in a five-star hotel in Dubai, to organize a global celebration under the title “Celebrating Three Years of the Abraham Accords,” including mayors, heads of branches and senior party activists for a three-day vacation at the Hilton Al Habtoor City.

Danon himself stayed at the conference for only one night and was attended by his senior aides and officials in Israeli institutions, the head of the World Zionist Organization Yaakov Hagoel, the head of the Jewish National Fund responsible for the confiscation of occupied Palestinian lands in favour of the settlements, Ovadia Loski, and heads of departments and other positions on behalf of the Likud.

There was also Mayor Ofakim Itzik Danino, former Knesset member Nava Boker, heads of Likud branches in Ramat Gan Moshe Farach, Kiryat Malachi Nadav Weizman, CEO Yigal Brand, and dozens of other Likud activists and heads of branches.

The Israeli media indicated that “Danon has complete control over the Likud around the world in the World Zionist Congress, which is an independent body funded by the Zionist Organization, with an estimated amount of two million shekels per year, and provides dozens of positions for party members in government institutions, and the participants in the Dubai conference came from countries different.”

It is noteworthy that Danon is one of the few Likud leaders who did not hold a ministerial position in the government of Benjamin Netanyahu. Still, he has absolute control of the international Likud movement and its arms in the World Zionist Congress.

In doing so, Danon prevented Netanyahu from controlling the movement, and through a wide range of jobs in it and with its arms in the “national Zionist institutions” during the last 15 years.

This conference, held in Dubai, reveals the deepening of normalization and alliance relations between Israel and the UAE to the extent that the ruling Likud party held its annual conference in Dubai.

The leaders of the Likud party were involved in bloody massacres against the Palestinians and the Arabs. Still, today it legitimizes the commission of more crimes against the Palestinian people. Nevertheless, it finds a place for it in an Arab country hosting its conference to endorse more of its crimes.

The Likud party, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is considered one of the right-wing parties in Israel, as it has recently allied itself with the most extremist parties in it. It is based on many principles hostile to Arabs and Muslims, especially the Palestinians.

One of its most important principles is that Israel has the right to the entire “historic land of Israel”: Palestine and eastern Jordan “according to the Jewish conception.”

Among the most important principles of the Likud Party is the intensification of large-scale settlement operations “in all of the liberated land of Israel,” according to the Likud Party’s expression, and what is meant here is the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
