The UAE regime to promoting for dividing Yemen reveals its recent deception about withdrawing or reducing its forces from the country which is torn by the Saudi-UAE alliance war that has been going on for more than four years.
A tweet to the Emirati academic Abdul Khaliq Abdullah, predicting the division of Yemen, received an attack on him on social media.
“There will be no single unified Yemen after today,” said Abdullah, a former adviser to Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed.
This clearly reveals the conspiracies of the UAE in Yemen and its fundamental quest to push the division of the country under the tens of thousands of mercenaries and armed militias, especially in the south of the country.
Following the UAE’s decision to significantly reduce its military presence in southern Yemen, many possible explanations for this move have emerged, but one of the main reasons for this is that the Emiratis are increasingly denigrated in the war in Yemen, according to the US Monitor website.
The latest withdrawal is part of a “strategic redeployment” of UAE troops in the Gulf region as tensions mount between Iran and the United States.
But the UAE insists that its troop reduction was possible as a natural result of its victories over Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula and the Houthi group. But growing resentment over the UAE’s military presence in southern Yemen has also contributed to its partial withdrawal from the region.
The reactions to Abdelkhaliq Abdullah have been dominated by a Yemeni attack joined by government figures condemning the UAE’s crimes in Yemen.
