Emirati business people withdrew large investments from several Arab countries and transferred them to Israel.

Senior sources informed Emirates Leaks that these steps were taken at the behest of the Emirati regime to enhance Israel’s economic cooperation.

The sources pointed out that at the forefront of these billionaires is close to Khalaf Al Habtoor’s Emirati regime.

He added that Al Habtoor withdrew many of his investments and funds from his country’s banks and companies operating in some Arab countries, and had signed long-term contracts with Israeli institutions.

Boycott campaign

In response, Al Habtoor’s companies incurred significant financial losses due to the expansion of boycotting his companies’ circle due to his normalization stances with Israel.

The For Palestine account on Twitter confirmed that “the Al Habtoor Group is facing major financial losses due to the boycott of their companies.”

The account continued, “Here lies the influence of the free people in rejecting the normalization. Do not stop and continue participating in the campaigns to boycott the Zionist institutions.”

A few days ago, a campaign was launched on social media to boycott Al Habtoor’s companies due to his involvement in Israel’s normalization.

Al Habtoor is considered close to the ruling regime in the UAE and one of the godfathers of promoting normalization.

The Khalaf Al Habtoor Group announced the start of talks with Israir to organize joint commercial and tourism trips.

The hashtag #قاطعوا_الحبتور_وشركاته (Boycott Al Habtoor and his companies) enjoyed broad Arab interaction.

Boycott of Emirati products

Last month, activists on social media launched a campaign to boycott Emirati products to protest their crimes and aggressive foreign interference.

Activists tweeted the tag #مقاطعه_المنتجات_الاماراتيه (boycott UAE products) to call for a widespread boycott of Abu Dhabi products and its economic punishment.

The tweeters reviewed several varieties of exported products from the UAE via Jebel Ali and other regions in the country, which have proven to be unfit for use.

Other activists were quick to uncover the “barcode” 629, which symbolizes Emirati origin products, noting that some products are counterfeit in the country of origin on them.

Popular punishment

The tweeters highlighted the UAE’s crimes on the Yemen war, its military intervention in Libya, and conspiracy against Arab countries.

They also stressed the need to boycott the UAE in light of its encroachment with shameful agreements of normalization with Israel and the conclusion of a series of economic deals with the Zionist state.

The activists indicated that 4 Israeli companies opened factories in the UAE, which are: Tnuva for the dairy industry, SodaStream for soft drinks, Delec for the manufacture of oils and petroleum products, and Medtronic for the manufacture of medical devices.

The tweeters pointed out that these companies’ products will be exported to Arab countries in the name of the Emirates.

They also indicated that the UAE imported products of the Israeli settlements established in the occupied Palestinian territories.
