Families of political detainees in the UAE have launched appeals to save their children, in light of the grave violations they face, due to their neglect and ill-treatment.

The wife of the prisoner of conscience in the Emirati Razin prison, Abd al-Salam Darwish, addressed a distress cry because of the violations that affected his family, calling for the release of her husband and ending the suffering of an entire family that is subject to great injustice.

In a tweet on Twitter, the wife of Abdul Salam Darwish appealed to the rulers of the UAE to stop the injustice against detainees in prisons who are subjected to psychological and physical abuse and prevent them from covering and returning the nationalities of the seven citizens whose nationalities were withdrawn.

She also demanded the return of her husband’s pension, which was cut off from her until she was living on aid, and holding those who had stopped treating her sick children on their journey for treatment and holding accountable those responsible for these barbaric practices.

It is reported that a series of tweets appeared at the expense of the wife of the detainee Abd al-Salam, which dealt with the situation of his family since his arrest, and the restrictions faced by him, in addition to the violations received by the prisoner inside the prison, and also indicated the suffering of all detainees and their families.

The wife of the detainee in the Emirates prisons complained that the authorities deliberately deprived him and the rest of the detainees of their basic rights of winter clothes and heavy blankets to protect them from the cold of winter, and left them suffering from the cold bites that hurt their bodies, which were weakened by the length of the detention.
