Palestinian warnings of UAE conspiracies to influence the elections
Palestinian warnings have escalated about the UAE’s plots to influence the Palestinian elections scheduled to take place from next May.
The Jerusalem International Foundation said that Abu Dhabi is conspiring to exploit the legislative elections to control Jerusalem’s political scene.
In a press release, the Foundation warned that Abu Dhabi is seeking to provide services to the Israeli occupation in Jerusalem to implement the Abraham Agreement of normalization.
The UAE nominated a unified list called Jerusalem First, which promotes national preludes regarding the city’s marginalization at the Palestinian Authority level and the presence of a frenzied Israeli attack.
It seeks to justify the need to form a unified reference for Jerusalem and treat the unified parliamentary bloc of the Legislative Council as this unified reference.
The Foundation explained that the UAE’s money distributed in Jerusalem was “neither charitable nor free,” but rather to consecrate the agreement declaring normalization.
The organization indicated that the UAE’s plans are based on Judaizing the Al-Aqsa Mosque, giving away Jerusalem real estate, and displacing Palestinians.
The Jerusalem Foundation called on the Jerusalem elite not to deal with the UAE’s plans and thwart them and pay attention to the dangerous conspiracy hatched for Jerusalem.
Two days ago, identical sources revealed that the UAE had pumped huge funds to influence the Palestinian elections scheduled for next May.
The sources said to Emirates Leaks that the Emirati money is paid through Mohammed Dahlan, advisor to Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed.
The sources stated that the suspicious Emirati plan focuses on exploiting the Palestinians’ humanitarian needs in light of the reality of the Israeli occupation and blockade.
They explained that large sums of money were distributed a few days ago in occupied Jerusalem and refugee camps in the West Bank and Gaza.
According to the sources, the Emirati plan aims to attract popular support for Dahlan and his dissident movement from the Fatah movement.
The UAE conspires to control the Palestinian scene from the gate of escalating its mercenaries and finding a political ground for them to impose their orientations later.
At the beginning of this month, identical sources revealed the UAE’s pressure to impose Dahlan on the upcoming Palestinian elections.
Dahlan is a former leader in the Fatah movement led by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in 2011 on charges of corruption and murder.
Since then, Dahlan has worked as a security advisor to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed, and is considered an Emirati tool for its foreign plots.
Dahlan also played a prominent role in the agreement declaring and promoting normalization between the Emirati regime and Israel.
Reliable sources told Emirates Leaks that Abu Dhabi is carrying out sweeping political moves to impose Dahlan on Abbas and the Fatah movement.
According to the sources, the UAE is pressing Abbas to cancel all accusations directed against Dahlan.
Abu Dhabi is trying to re-export Dahlan to the political front to work within Fatah’s legal and institutional framework and the institutions of the authority.
It came before the legislative elections scheduled for May 22 and the presidential elections on July 31.
