Hebrew media revealed that EDGE, the UAE’s state-owned defense giant, has acquired a 30% stake in the Israeli military supplier Thirdeye Systems for $10.3 million. Thirdeye specializes in drone detection technology and supplies both the Israeli military and NATO members. The Israeli Ministry of Defense approved the deal, signaling deepening defense cooperation between the two nations.

Reuters reported that EDGE will also inject an additional $12 million into a new joint venture with Thirdeye Systems, giving the Emirati firm a controlling interest.
