Emirati and Israeli joint military exercises in Greece

Last week, Greece witnessed extensive military exercises and maneuvers for a number of different countries, including Israel and the United Arab Emirates, in light of the rising of normalization on both sides.

According to Channel 12, the United States, Italy and other countries participated in these air exercises that lasted several days with the participation of Israeli Air Force crews.

The channel pointed out that the UAE air force is the only Arab country to participate in these exercises.

Israeli sources recently reported that two UAE pilots bombed the Gaza Strip in F-35 fighter jets and that the exercises on these fighters were vivid during the aggression against the Palestinians in Gaza. The UAE did not confirm the Israeli claims.

The Israeli second channel asked, “Who would believe that the day will come when pilots from the UAE are trained along with others from the Israeli Air Force?”

In August 2016, the Israeli Air Force, along with its Emirati and Pakistani counterparts, participated in the Red Flag exercises in Nevada.

UAE Foreign Minister Anwar Gargash called on Arab countries to open up to Israel and consider the previous Arab decision to boycott the country a “very wrong decision.” This statement highlighted a new phase of the relations between Abu Dhabi and Israel and its transition to public relations and promotion of normalization after years of covert cooperation in various political, economic and security fields.

The United Arab Emirates is Israel’s official partner in the Arab region.

Abu Dhabi is implicated in supporting Israel, printing privately and openly with it and abandoning its Arabism.

This is done at the expense of the Palestinian cause and collusion with the American deal of the century that recognizes occupied Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
